Christie's Dubai Auction
Edge of Arabia sold by auction six works at Christie's Dubai sale of Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art on 19th April 2011. The sale was a fundraiser to enable the expansion of Edge of Arabia's education programme and art workshops in Saudi Arabian schools and universities. The works shattered all records, selling for just over $1 million, against a pre-sale estimate of around $135,000. The proceeds will go toward nurturing a new generation of artists and curators in Saudi Arabia.
