Journey to Pakistan
Best of Offscreen Expedition 2010
In October 2010, six enthusiastic and talented young people from the UK journeyed to Pakistan to explore the country beyond media stereotypes.
The team worked with art students, a documentary filmmaker, historians, young people who have set up community projects, an interfaith NGO and even truck painters, questioned an Islamic scholar, spent a day in a madrassa, went hiking in a national park... and had a very enlightening time!
The final celebration in Islamabad where each participant gave a speech was attended by the UK Foreign Affairs Committee.
