The Crossway Foundation has created a new competitive platform for developing, recognizing, and nurturing young talent in Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Egypt.

The competition is an initiative that engages youth in applying 21st Century skill sets to improve their communities, inspire creativity, promote innovation and bring their country's economy to the forefront of competitiveness.

Previously a competition open only to Saudi Nationals and Saudi Residents, this year sees us expand to include talented young people from Egypt and Morocco. The competition will launch in September 2012 in partnership with Dar Al Ma'mûn Foundation in Morocco and Townhouse Gallery in Cairo.

We are looking for five talented young creatives from each country to take part in an Offscreen Expedition in July 2013. Winners will be announced in January 2013 and will be chosen based on their creative talent, ability to inspire others and their creative skills.

During the expedition, participants will be invited to work with a wide range of curators, artists and local communities to create a body of authentic and vibrant work around a current theme. This is a unique opportunity for talented youth from Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Egypt to be exposed to a range of creative industries in the UK.
